Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge # 16 - I did a layout this time!

I'm not sure I truly followed the sketch this week but it certainly did inspire this layout!
The base of the layout has been scored horizontally @ 1/4" intervals and lightly sanded in random places.
The barn red cs pieces have been stamped with the new Swirl Around Flair stamp set using second generation Saddle Ink & the edges are sponged with the Saddle Ink.
The "family" title was cut with the new Artbooking Cricut cartridge.
The "enamel" flower at the top is just a piece of B&T paper from the Huntington paper pack with Liquid Glass applied to the flower print - my friend Rosie showed me this technique last week & I love it! Thanks Rosie! Here is a close up.

Those who have paper crafted with me know I use Glue Dots a lot!. The Rosewood metal flourishes don't have adhesive on the back & I didn't want to wait for more glue to dry so I've used Mini Glue Dots to mount these.
You have until Saturday evening to join the AHSC #16 so take a look at the sketch & see what you're inspired to create!

I love this layout, great job. Remember the sketch doesn't have to be followed to the "T", it is how you interpret the sketch. Thanks for playing along with us at Atlantic Hearts. We always love to see what you will create next.

Like it! All the bits and pieces from the sketch is there and I like the fact that you made it in your own way! Sometimes we have to think outside the box even if it is a given one.
Looking forward to see you again at Atlantic Heart Sketch Challenge.

Thank you ladies! This layout was so much fun to make! I think it's exciting to use so many new products all at once! the glitter card submitted by Meighan is so pretty & I was intrigued by how many challenges she entered with it! I'm having lots of fun with AHCS! Thanks again! I can't wait to see what the Design Team posts tomorrow!
