AHSC #344 - Christmas Greetings

I made this card with a vintage look so I could use up some stickers I've had sitting around. I think the sketch is a perfect design for more contemporary papers so it will be fun to see what everyone else makes.

I hope you'll be inspired to create something with this week's sketch and share it on the AHSC blog.

AHSC # 342 Trees in the Woods

This is a fun sketch! I decided to cut apart the woodgrain paper and notch each piece separately then adhere them to the card base. Scallop circles usually aren't my favorite but after exploring other possibilities on the Cricut I decided I actually liked the scalloped circle. I'll probably stamp a Merry Christmas sentiment at the bottom of the card before I send it.

AHSC #341 - Merry & Bright

I decided to start my holiday cardmaking and had the perfect papers for this sketch! I just turned the focal element upside down and used a sticker for the sentiment. The pinecones are colored with a medium gray maker to keep with the gray color scheme of my card.

AHSC #339 Just Because

This sketch puzzled me a bit. After trying several papers for the lower half of the card I finally decided just to go with some texture instead of trying to repeat the pattern. I'm happy with my finished card, I lightly sanded the embossing and also brushed it lightly with the shimmer pen. The floral sticker added the right amount of "fancy" to finish my card.

I hope you'll be inspired to make something with the sketch this week and share on the AHSC blog.

AHSC # 338 - Happy Birthday

This card was really fun to do! I've used leftover stickers, a die-cut, and one of my favorite background papers in the windows. So many different things inspire us in our papercrafting. Sometimes it's leftovers sitting on our table, or a new die-cut, whatever it is that inspires you I hope you'll create something with this week's sketch and share it on the AHSC blog.

AHSC 335 - Jack-o-lantern!

When I looked at the sketch for this week I immediately thought Jack-o-lantern!
After I stamped the stars I added a bit of shimmer just for fun.
I hope you'll be inspired to make something with the sketch this week and share on the AHSC blog.

hello -AHSC # 331

Hello - this card came together so easily! I used washi tape and gold foil stickers for the sketch elements. It would also be fun to use 3 different papers for the sections of the card too, so many possibilities with this sketch! I hope you'll be inspired to create something this week and join the AHSC.

AHSC #330 Get Well

I love layered cards and this sketch was perfect for creating a layered card. Sparkle and shine were easy to add with foil paper and shimmer brushes.

Just a Note - AHSC # 329

Hello - this card was so fun to make! I had a pattern paper to cut up and some foil stickers and a stamp of a bee that seemed perfect! I didn't want the color of the solid cardstock to overwhelm the card so I lightly sanded that piece before I stamped the image of the bee.
I hope you'll be inspired to create something for this weeks challenge. Here's the sketch...
