I am still going to continue making scrapbooks and cards and I'll also be doing a lot more exploring into mixed media projects. So, check back from time to time to see if I've added a new post!

I am leaving the link to the current Close to My Heart catalog so you can still find their products. The company still has the best quality stamps around and will continue to have lots of fun specials.

I may even return to the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge design team in the future! I can assure all of you that I am not walking away from papercrafting!

Take care & keep making time to create!

Patty Smith
Pattyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03685204860081836465noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2334322625251329277.post-88235088799281982042022-09-26T04:00:00.002-07:002022-10-31T07:23:25.319-07:00AHSC # 492 - Fall Vintage Series - Hello

This is my favorite card in this series! My card base has been sanded on the edge to add a little texture and the white background was dry embossed with a heart embossing folder. I wanted to use 3 fun pieces for the circle elements, so I cut a heart from glitter paper, cut a circle from a heart pattern paper and stamped the 4th of July image and trimmed it out. I thought these layered together well.

I hope you’ll be inspired to create something with this

Instead let your imagination take over! The CTMH Mink Love Story papers included the pretty zip strip I mounted for the band under the flowers on this card.
