When I purchased this gift I had the store use their classic gift wrap that I thought was perfect not only for the occasion but also perfect for the beautiful gift tag I knew I wanted to create. And I knew just what colors and what stamp set I wanted to use!
The tag and leaves are cut with the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge. The flower was stamped, colored and Glitz Bronze Glitter Gel was used to fill in the center. A little bit of Glitz Almond Gel was used on the Kraft cardstock band. This folded tag cut at 3" gives you lots of room inside to write your special wish.
This layout has been created using Pattern 04 from the CTMH Make It from Your Heart pattern book and the NEW! Later Sk8r paper pack.
I decided to score the base page cardstock horizontally at 1inch intervals before I added any of the patterned papers. This technique adds texture and dimension to the pages. Embellishments are the Lagoon Bakers Twine and the Durables Squares.
The journaling has all been done with the stamping to tell the when, who and what.
