The sketch this week was a challenge! I love these papers and the grid background was awesome to use but my card was just too plain. So I cut out a couple flowers to brighten things up. I painted over the flowers with a shimmer brush to add some sparkle.

This card is definitely inspired by the sketch. I used just one background paper and didn't add a sentiment to the front because of the stamped sentiment inside. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving in California hosted by our niece and her husband and I wanted to make a pretty card to thank them.

AHSC #441 Fall Series #1

 Fall will be here soon, my favorite season of all! This series of cards is not some of my most colorful but they were fun to do and the AHSC provided some great sketches so be sure to check back in the coming weeks to see them all!

The flower on this card is colored with Distress Oxide inks. I decided to use a Q-tip and it worked great.
