AHSC # 479 - Happy 4th of July!

4th of July in the US will be upon us soon & now that we live in Nevada I send cards to a few friends and family we used to spend the holiday with.

This week Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge is again partnering with the Double Trouble blog challenge to create a card with the AHSC sketch and the "create your own background " challenge from Double Trouble. My card base has been sanded on the edge to add a little texture and the white background was dry embossed with a heart embossing folder. I wanted to use 3 fun pieces for the circle elements, so I cut a heart from glitter paper, cut a circle from a heart pattern paper and stamped the 4th of July image and trimmed it out. I thought these layered together well.

I hope you’ll be inspired to create something with this week’s sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge and share it on their blog. Details for the Double Trouble challenge are in this link too.

 Here’s the AHSC sketch…..

Love your 4th of July card and interpretation of the sketch. You have included YouNique Technique dry embossing in your project and would love you to join us at Double Trouble to be eligible for our Top 3 and random draw winner... hope to see you there.
