Grateful....

Today American's have much to be grateful for. Our nation is thriving and our opportunities are many, but the price some have paid to provide our freedom should not be forgotten.

My cards have been published!

I have been purchasing the Stampington & Co Take Ten magazine for a long time now. This magazine appeals to me for two reasons; most of the cards have minimal embellishments and the theme of the magazine is to create great cards in ten minutes of less. I really believe that cards should be simple projects that are fun to create yet make a visual impact. Here are my cards that were chosen for publication.
Bicycle Flowers created with CTMH papers, stamps & markers.
Worth Remembering created with Tim Holtz stamps and Prima paper.

Paper Cupcakes Father's Day Blog Hop

L

Happy Father's Day!
If you came here from thepapertaylor.blogspot.com you're in the right place!
Our challenge this month was to use the Happy Father's Day key on the CTMH Cricut Artiste cartridge.
The red lattice work on this layered layout was cut using the Accent 1 with the Shift Key and the Fit to Page feature. I've used black sparkles to accent the lattice, the bow tie was cut with the same key.
This is an old picture from a family wedding a few years ago. I haven't scrapped it before because there is a telephone pole right behind my dad's shoulder! So zip strip to the rescue!
Now please head on over to Dana's blog to see what she's made!

Dream Pop Cricut Mini Album

This is the front cover of my mini album I made following the instructions in the video I posted below on March 2nd.
The butterfly is cut with the Artiste cartridge from black glitter paper.
The pink flowers are cut out from one of the Dream Pop B&T papers. I added a little Silver Glitz Gel to the center of the open The buttons are attached with glue dots & the centers are filled with Silver Glitz.

Here is the inside of the album.

Pages in the back of the album.

This is the center of the album where I've stitched it together with Gray Bakers Twine.

This is the inside front of the album. I made an envelope page so notes can be tucked inside.

All of the inside pages are cut with the Artiste cartridge.
